The Gender & Womens Studies Program at Illinois has helped countless students develop a solid understanding of gender and womens issues that has made a lasting impact on their lives. Our students have contributed important research on issues ranging from girls education to womens health, from domestic violence to welfare policy. Some have earned professional degrees in law, business and social work, while others have gone on to earn Ph.D.s in their respective fields. They have become teachers, counselors, artists, journalists, librarians, scientists, and more. Every year we hear from former students who, no matter what path theyve chosen, identify their gender & womens studies courses as a turning point in their lives.
With your help, the Gender & Women's Studies Program can influence more lives. Please add your voice of support for the Gender & Womens Studies Program by making a gift to the Gender & Womens Studies Program Annual Fund today. Every gift is a precious resource that enables us to build up on the level of support for Gender & Womens Studies that many have worked so hard to develop in the last 28 years of the Programs existence. Each contribution is a lasting investment that has the potential to affect lives.
